The lathe machines are machines for building industrial hoses on rigid mandrels. They can be used for the application of various materials (rubber, fabric, rubberised fabric, nylon yarn and steel wire) and, thanks to their versatility, they can be adapted to various production requirements. The machine is composed of a frame with mobile devices to support the mandrel and one or two motor-driven heads for the rotation and the tensioning of the mandrel itself. A wagon is attached to the frame and it runs back and forth along it. The operator is standing on the wagon where there is also the control panel.
Other features
- Modular structure
- automatic loading/unloading of mandrels/hoses
- Support saddle for silicon coating separate from those for constructing the hose
- Motorisation of the height of rotation and tension heads
- Movement of the shuttle car, rotation and height of the heads are synchronised and controlled by the PLC
- Dispenser for rubbers/canvasses
- Dispenser for steel wire
- Photoelectric cells for the safety of the operator on three sides of the shuttle car
